Mass Choir Members: Rehearsals are Thursday night at 7pm unless notified by Bro. Jerry Silvers. West Gate's Choir ministers music on every 3rd Sunday.
Praise Team Members ONLY :Rehearsals are "every" Wednesday night following Bible Study.
Auditions are currently close for all choirs.

Home Visits
Attention West Gate Family: We have begun our Home Visits. If you would like to schedule a home visit please sign up or call the church office. When you sign up please select your time and date of you home visit. Home visits only last 30 minutes per visit. We invite and encourage everyone to have a home visit to bless your families and your home life. Thank you for your support!
West Gate Prison Ministry
Our Prison Ministry, Riverbend Maximum Security Prison will be scheduling volunteer classes for 2011. If you believe God has blessed you for this area of servant hood please sign up so that we can better prepare.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Potato Chip drive for the prisoners at Riverbend. May you receive, in return, 100 fold blessings for reaching out to be a blessing to someone less fortunate,in harmony with Matthew 25:31-40.

Sign up today for a School that will change your life. Our Education Department will contact you with dates for Q&A and Orientation. MTS is training Ministers for tomorrow!

Help Wanted - Volunteers
Our Media Department, Children's Church, Ushers, Ride Providers, and Parking Lot Ministries are all looking for faithful servants to serve in these departments. If God has blessed you in any of these areas of ministry and you would like to serve please sign up in the secretary's office, and someone will contact you. Also you must have taken the Gate Keepers Orientation Class in order to serve in any ministry at West Gate.
Helping Hands Ministry
We are in need of volunteers for our "Helping Hands Ministry" (that is the cleaning ministry for West Gate). Cleaning is done on Saturday evenings for Sunday services, and on Tuesday afternoon for Wednesday night services. If you would like to be a blessing in this area please contact Sis. Wendy Wells or Evangelist Martha Dunham.
Messages Available on CD/DVD
Just a reminder--copies of each of Pastor Smith's messages can be purchased for a donation of $5.00. Sign up to get your copy of Pastor's messages (current or past) in the Secretary's Office. CDs ordered will be made available at the next service meeting.
DVDs are also now being made available of services for a donation of $10.00. Please contact Sister Jamme Carmon to see what sermon title is available. Complete series of sermons are now available.

Usher's Department
The Bible says that every joint supplies! We are inviting you to bring your supply of the spirit to the Usher's Department. If you are interested in serving as an Usher or Greeter please let one of the usher's know you would like to sign up.
Gate Keepers Orientation/Leadership Development
The Gate Keepers Orientation and Leadership Development Classes will be held on the 1st Sunday of each month @ 9:00 am. Gatekeepers orientation is for all new members and anyone desiring to serve in the ministry. The Leadership Development classes are for ALL personnel currently serving in the ministry and have completed the Gatekeepers Orientation. These classes are mandatory before you can serve in the ministry.
The next Gate Keepers Orientation Class is November 6th, 2011.
SBI (Sunday Bible Institute)
Do you want to understand the bible? Do you want to learn a systematic way to study the bible? Well come and learn from the best at West Gate SBI-Sunday Bible Institute. These are certificate classes. Classes are held each Sunday @ 9:00am. See you there!
SBI class resumes September 11, 2011 with the first series entitled 'Understanding the Bible'.
We will also be offering these classes ONLINE very soon. Stay tuned for further updates.

If you are an entrepreneur or have your own business or about to launch a business, the West Gate family needs to know about it. We have a lot of Godly talent here; painters, contractors, landscrapers, and tax examiners, just to name a few. Please submit your business cards or your service information to the West Gate office so we can put together a business listing.
